Best running water bottle, Expert recommendations to choose

Hey everyone, I’ve been researching the best running water bottles in the UK over the past few days because I’m planning to upgrade my gear for my morning runs. I’ve gone through expert reviews and recommendations from Runner’s World UK, The Independent, and T3, and a few options consistently stand out for their comfort, leak-proof design, and ease of carrying:

:man_running: Nathan SpeedDraw Plus Insulated Flask

:droplet: CamelBak Podium Chill 710ml Bottle

Both of these bottles get amazing reviews for runners. The Nathan SpeedDraw is designed with a comfortable hand strap, making it super easy to hold during long runs, and it keeps water cold for a surprisingly long time. The CamelBak Podium Chill, on the other hand, is a classic — lightweight, fits most running belts, and features CamelBak’s Jet Valve for quick sips without leaks.

I’m mainly looking for something that’s easy to grip, doesn’t leak, and keeps water cool during longer runs or races. I prefer a bottle around 500–700ml so it’s not too heavy but still enough for a 10K or half marathon.

If anyone has tried other good options like Osprey Duro Handheld or HydraPak SkyFlask, or found any good deals on running bottles in the UK recently (Amazon, Decathlon, or Wiggle, maybe?), please share!

Would love to hear what you’re all using especially if you’ve found a bottle that balances comfort, durability, and insulation well. Thanks in advance and happy running! :woman_running::sweat_droplets:

yeah both of these are solid picks honestly. the Nathan SpeedDraw feels great in hand and the strap makes long runs way easier cause you don’t need to grip tight all the time. it also keeps your drink cool for ages. the CamelBak Podium Chill is a total workhorse too super light and the jet valve is awesome for quick sips without spilling a drop. you really can’t go wrong with either one just depends if you like handheld or bottle cage style better. i’ve seen both on sale on amazon uk recently so worth checking there too.
