pain in my body after starting gym

Hey guys I just started going to the gym this week and my whole body hurts like crazy. My arms and legs feel sore all the time and even simple things like climbing stairs are hard. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

Yeah bro it happens to almost everyone when they first start gym. Your body is just not used to the new movement yet. It will take few days to settle down. Just keep going and drink enough water.

I had the same issue when I began last month. My shoulders and thighs hurt for like 4 days straight. I thought I broke something lol. After that it got better and I actually started to like the pain, it means the muscles are growing.

hi maybe you did too much too soon. You got to start slow like less weight and proper stretching before and after workout. Also sleep well because recovery happens when you rest.

If the pain is sharp or feels like joint pain then be careful could be wrong posture. But if it is just soreness it is fine. You can try some light massage or warm bath to relax muscles.
