This weekend, a big 15 km race will be held in my city. There are always crowds packing along the course and handing something to the runners. I didn’t run this year, so I thought about handing out freeze pop, but I don’t know if runners would be happy. What was the best thing that was given during the race?
I want to eat ice candy. I saw you handing out strange sweets like a big pretzel stick. Who can be licked with saliva!!
I want to eat ice candy during the race. I got it once at the top of the hill in a very hot trail race. I still remember it vividly.
I felt the same strong thing: The oranges distributed in the second half of the marathon. Gummy bugs. Also, this is not something that was dealt with, but when I passed beside the people who were picnicking in the park on a hot day during a painful running, they ate watermelon and were driven by the urge to take it with them.
Watermelon may be the winner..
Snacks are good, but presenting tissue boxes is another great idea. Especially in cold races.
watermelon! It is ideal for hydration, and carbohydrates are contained in little and the best. If it’s chilled and eaten, it’s 10 times more delicious.
The ice-cold cola that I drink after a long, hot run is my favourite thing in this world. other than that, i don’t like coke at all
The lukewarm cola I drank at the final point of 50 km was the best thing I ever said.
I love eating freeze pop at the race course! The exquisite balance of sugar and water, ice chills the body, and you can hold it for a while without spilling like a cup of liquid. Freeze pop is the best! 10 out of 10!
At last week’s Atlanta Peachtree Road Race, participants were given ice candy and a large amount of alcoholic beverages (beer, fireball, gero shot, etc.), but the most unique was the chocolate chip pancake.
It is not worth the price, but it is seriously the best to eat frozen anclastable in the middle distance on a hot day. Other than that, freeze pop with electrolyte (the best of all sports in the workplace) is absolutely the best in the race.
One day, on a day of 88 degrees Fahrenheit (about 31 degrees Celsius), I walked through the lemonade stand. The water bottle was empty, so I was refilled for $5. Life has changed!
If what I’m thinking (I’m running a big one this weekend), ice candy is already ready. what about tomato pies?
Banana half. It will help those who may spasm in the heat. Do you live in the course? If so, spray the fog with a hose.
There has been a half marathon held in July in recent years. There is a freeze-pop water supply station. There is a sign in front of a few steps, and it is written that you shout your color. Then the freeze pop of that color is prepared.
However, be sure to cut the top.
Personally, I have not yet learned the technique of eating freeze pop while running. The juice part can be sucked out, but the ice part eventually spits out.
Seriously, I was handed beer around mile 21ish of my two best marathons, and I’m sure it helped! (Small amounts of beer. But still, beer!)
Fireball? Whatever you hand over, be prepared that it is likely to splash throughout the body. Runners running at a faster pace than 8 minutes/mile do not slow down, just grab and scatter, and may foul you or your surroundings.
